If you don’t know about the iconic Scottish architect and stained glass designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, he was at the height of his career in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. His style was considered to be part of the burgeoning Art Nouveau movement of that era. Not only did this master artist design buildings from the ground up, he also designed every single facet of their interiors, from the furnishings to the art on the walls . . . and the stained glass windows he considered an integral part of the overall design.
His style came to be known as Mackintosh stained glass and Kansas City homes are beautifully enhanced by the addition of it!
